Get ready for an adventure at the Toronto Zoo, Canada’s biggest and most exciting animal escape! Spanning a massive 287 hectares (that’s 710 acres of wonder), it’s like stepping into a whole world of creatures. Explore seven incredible regions—Indo-Malaya, Africa, Americas, Tundra Trek, Australasia, Eurasia, and the Canadian Domain—each bursting with fascinating animals.
Marvel at animals lounging indoors in lush, tropical pavilions or roaming outside in habitats that mimic their natural homes—some even at different heights for a fun viewing twist! The fun doesn’t stop there: kids can get hands-on at the Kids Zoo, catch a show at Waterside Theatre, or splash around at Splash Island.
With over 5,000 animals from more than 500 species—including colorful fish and incredible invertebrates—the Toronto Zoo is one of the most diverse wildlife collections in the world. Ready for a wild day full of discovery?
Cost:
- EAP students: $0 (no fee)
- All other students/staff/guests: $40 per person.
Sign-up and payment deadline: Wednesday, May 21st at 1:00pm
- The college does not accept cash, debit or credit card for college trips.
- If you need to make a payment. you MUST pay by making an online banking payment.
- Go to your Canadian bank account online.
Pay a bill and make Niagara College (or Niagara College Tuition) the payee.
The account number will be your student number.
Take a screenshot of your payment and email [email protected] with your full name and student number. - If you need help making an online payment, we would happy to help you in any International Office.
- After you have made the payment, you MUST email a copy of your receipt to [email protected]
Bus Pick-up Times
- Welland Campus – Athletic Centre entrance – The bus will leave at 8:00 am
- Daniel J. Patterson Campus @NOTL – Front entrance – 8:30 am.
- St. Catharines Bus Terminal – Carlisle St. – 8:50 am
We will leave the zoo at 5:00 pm
