Selecting an educational agent is a personal decision. Here are some considerations and recommendations to guide you in making your selection:

  • Confirm registration: When selecting an education agent, ensure that your representative is a registered agent with Niagara College. Follow the instructions under the “Agency Verification” section below to verify this.
  • Direct communication: Ensure you have direct access to email communications from Niagara College at all times.
  • Discuss services: Discuss with your agent the services they will provide, including assistance with your study visa application. Request detailed costs of each service in writing.
  • No guarantees: Please be aware that using an educational agent does not guarantee your admission to Niagara College or the approval of a Canadian study permit.
  • Retain Original Documents: Always keep your original documents, such as passports, academic transcripts, and records, in your possession.
  • Tuition Payments: All tuition fee payments should be made payable directly to ‘Niagara College’.
  • Know agents’ responsibilities: Your agent should assist you in completing the International Student Web Application Form and must always obtain consent from you before making any decisions or actions on your behalf.
  • Application progress: Once your agent has submitted your application to Niagara College, we will communicate with your educational agent to allow them to check the progress of your application.
