Niagara College’s Gap Year Program offers a full year of customizable experiential learning during students’ break between high school/secondary school and postsecondary education. Participants discover their potential through the English for Academic Preparation (EAP) program, sample a variety of college program areas, or combine EAP with exploring college programs.

Through NC’s Gap Year Program, you will…
- Customize your program by choosing from:
- EAP: 1 or 2 semesters (4 or 8 months)*
- College program exploration: 1 or 2 semesters
- EAP plus college program exploration: combine 1 or 2 semesters of EAP with 1 or 2 semesters of college programs*
- Reflect on your skills, abilities and aptitudes to make an informed choice about your future.
- Explore career options available to you in many program areas through the program’s customizable options to reflect your interests while enhancing your English language skills.
