Niagara College students receive guidance and orientation from our International Student Advisors (ISAs). ISAs help students understand immigration requirements, timelines, documents, and next steps for applications such as Study Permit extensions, Co-op Work Permits, and the Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).
BorderPass may provide additional optional services. To access these immigration-related services, you must first meet with an International Student Advisor (ISA) at Niagara College for an assessment. If the ISA determines that the application is outside the College’s scope of support, the student may be referred to BorderPass with a referral code.
- Referred cases may be subject to a reduced legal fee to use BorderPass services, in addition to any applicable Government processing and biometrics fees.
Some of these services may include spousal work permits, visitor visas, and Social Insurance Number (SIN) registration. Additional supports may also include tax advising, resume building, and job matching.
