Niagara College Expands Globally: Welcome to Barcelona!

Niagara College (NC) has expanded its global reach with the launch of its first global campus in Barcelona, Spain.

The Niagara College Barcelona Campus, in partnership with LCI Barcelona, offers select Niagara College programs in Barcelona, Spain, one of Europe’s most dynamic cities. Students benefit from NC’s high-quality standards, delivered within LCI Barcelona’s vibrant learning community and locally integrated support services.

Student Mobility

Explore international opportunities at NC Barcelona designed for Ontario-based NC students.

Through Niagara College’s Be World Ready (BWR) program, students can participate in a one-week Global Learning Experience (GLE) in Barcelona – an ongoing initiative that supports global citizenship.

Another option is our Summer Institute in Barcelona, where students participate in daily learning, complemented by cultural activities that provides a full immersive and intercultural experience in Spanish culture.

As the campus partnership grows, more study and work abroad opportunities will be introduced.

Niagara College will be offering 2 programs in Barcelona:

  • Hospitality & Tourism Management
  • Beverage Business Management

All our programs are taught in English.

  • Admission requirements vary by program.
    • For admission requirements, please refer to your program of interest’s Program Page.
  • All international applicants must meet Niagara College English language proficiency requirements.

Our programs are taught face-to-face in Barcelona.

You will graduate with a Niagara College credential.

  • Our partner, LCI Barcelona, has collaboration agreements with off-campus student residences to ensure quality housing options are made available.
  • Once you complete your enrolment with NC Barcelona, you will receive a comprehensive housing guide with detailed information on available accommodation options. The LCI Barcelona team will support you throughout the process, helping you find a safe and comfortable place to live.
  • Our campus is located at 124 Àlaba Street, in the 22@ district of Barcelona.
  • Students will study at the newly developed campus building in the 22@ district, an area known for its creativity and innovation in Barcelona and strategically located near the city centre – an exciting location to study, work, and have fun.
  • Experience the best of Barcelona, with the campus just a short walk from the Sagrada Familia, trendy cafes, local parks, museums, and Bogatell Beach.

Students can typically work part-time up to 30 hours per week as an international student in Spain during the academic year, provided you obtain a valid work permit, typically processed alongside your student visa.
