The perseverance and flexibility shown by students and employees during this pandemic has been remarkable. I want to thank our students for their understanding and patience and express my deepest gratitude to faculty and staff for their creative, innovative thinking to identify the best ways to move forward through this unprecedented situation.

Our resilience as a Niagara College community will certainly be tested in challenging times like these, but I have every confidence that in the face of adversity, our collaborative, resourceful and caring nature will see us through.  We have already seen so many examples of harnessing our creativity and technology to support student success, and I know we will continue to find new ways to teach, learn, and achieve #NCTogether.

As the measures and government directives to protect our health and safety continue until further notice, with no certainty regarding a date when on-campus activities can resume, we have created a plan for Winter 2020 completion and Spring 2020 term that provides as much clarity as possible for our students and employees.

The Spring 2020 term will begin on May 11 for programs Level 02 and above that can be delivered online. Programs requiring significant on-campus or practical components will be deferred. For new students, the level 01 intake for the Spring term has been suspended and offers of acceptance deferred to the Fall 2020 or next available term.  Additional details, including the Spring 2020 status for all programs is available here.

We remain committed to taking whatever steps we can to help our students move forward in their studies while complying with health and safety measures that are critically important to flatten the curve of COVID-19, and maintaining a high-quality learning experience in all programs.

Thank you to our students, faculty, and staff for your ongoing patience, understanding, and perseverance as we continue to navigate these challenging times together.
