Niagara College takes plagiarism and academic integrity seriously. Incidences of plagiarism can result in zero grades in assignments, failing courses, or even removal from your program of study. As an international student this can have major consequences on your status in Canada and plans for study and work.

It’s critical to your academic success that you are able to use the correct citations and apply references when required. The NC Library has fantastic supports available including interactive guides, video guides and drop-in sessions
The college provides a range of academic support available to all learners. Here is a summary of the main support services available:
Academic drop-in sessions: Organized by the NC Library, these FREE sessions are drop-in (no registration required) and cover a variety of topics from MATH, COMM (writing), Science and ESL (English as Second Language) NC Libraries Academic Drop-In Sessions.
Peer tutoring: Organized via the NC Library, the peer tutoring network is designed to match experienced students with those in need of support. The experienced student will be paid as a tutor while the student in need of support can receive FREE academic support from a fellow Niagara College student.
Blackboard support: Organized via the NC Library, you can receive FREE support navigating our learning platform, Blackboard Peer Tutoring.
