Early Admission Criteria
Applicants that qualify for Early Admission are prioritized for admission to academic programs (subject to program capacity). In cases where program capacity has already been met, qualifying applicants will be placed on a limited waitlist and considered a priority for admission as capacity becomes available. To qualify for Early Admission, applicants must meet the following minimum Early Admission Criteria. Post-Secondary Diploma/Certificate Programs

English Proficiency Requirements
|
- TOEFL iBT (including Special Home Edition Test) – Minimum score of 79 with a minimum of 20 in writing and 20 in speaking, OR
- IELTS (including Indicator Test) - Minimum score of 6.0, with no individual band score under 6.0, OR
- CAEL score of 60 with no individual band score under 55, OR
- PTE - Overall score of 57+, OR
- Duolingo – Overall score 109+, OR
- Cambridge English Exams (B2 First/FCE, C1 Advanced/CAE or C2 Proficiency/CPE) – Minimum score of 169, with no skill below 162,

Minimum grade requirements may vary for some programs. Subject to competition, applicants may be required to present averages/grades above the minimum. Some programs may have additional requirements such as pre-admission testing, submission of a portfolio (cover letter, curriculum vitae (CV), professional reference letters). - Cambridge English Exams (B2 First/FCE, C1 Advanced/CAE or C2 Proficiency/CPE) – Minimum score of 176, with no skill below 169,

- Applicants must have completed their last studies within five years of the start date of the Niagara College program

- Grade Average of 60%
- All required courses 55%
