Encompassing 287 hectares (710 acres), the Toronto Zoo is the largest zoo in Canada. It is divided into seven zoogeographic regions: Indo-Malaya, Africa, Americas, Tundra Trek, Australasia, Eurasia, and the Canadian Domain. Some animals are displayed indoors in tropical pavilions and outdoors in what would be their naturalistic environments, with viewing at many levels. It also has areas such as the Kids Zoo, Waterside Theatre, and Splash Island. It has one of the most taxonomically diverse collection of animals on display of any zoo; it is currently home to over 5,000 animals (including invertebrates and fish) representing over 500 species.

Cost: The cost is included in tuition for International EAP and Roskilde Business College students.  All other students, staff and guests at $35 per person.

Sign-up and payment deadline: Thursday, September 15th   at 3:00 pm

Payment policy:

  • The college does not accept cash, debit or credit card for college trips.
  • If you need to make a payment. you MUST pay by making an online banking payment.
  • Go to your Canadian bank account online.
    Pay a bill and make Niagara College (or Niagara College Tuition) the payee.
    The account number will be your student number.
    Take a screenshot of your payment and email [email protected] with your full name and student number.
  • If you need help making an online payment, we would happy to help you in any International Office.
  • After you have made the payment, you MUST email a copy of your receipt to [email protected]

Bus Pick-up Times
~ Welland Campus – Athletic Centre entrance –  Please be on campus by 9:15 am. The bus will leave at 9:30 am

~ Daniel J. Patterson Campus @NOTL – Front entrance – 10:00 am.

~ Niagara Falls- Morrison/Dorchester Hub – 10:00 am.
~ St. Catharines Bus Terminal – Carlisle St. – 10:15 am

We will leave the zoo at 5:00 pm
