The next homestay fee is due on the first of the following month.  You must give your homestay family 30 days notice before leaving your homestay.
  • It is expected that you pay full fee for months that include vacations when you choose to be away from your homestay.   If you are in a homestay for extra days at the beginning or end of the month when you arrive or depart, the fee is $20 per day.   If you and your homestay family agree to make a change to the homestay policy, complete a Change in Homestay Agreement and return a signed copy to the International Housing Coordinator.
  • Your meals are included in your homestay fee. You can expect to have dinner meals with your host family, and learn about Canadian foods.  You may have to prepare your own breakfast and lunch.
  • The homestay fee includes: a private bedroom equipped with bed, desk, dresser, storage for your belongings and internet connection.  It also includes meals, drinks and some snacks.  If you have special foods you like you may be required to purchase them yourself.
