These scholarships are for students who are applying for their first term at Niagara College.

Community and volunteer involvement is often considered when awarding scholarships, and review committees will often contact community or volunteer references that are provided for additional background as to your relationships with these organizations.

$2,000Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) ScholarshipInternational student who is a resident of an approved CIS country (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia) and has been admitted to an academic program at Niagara College for the upcoming school year.Apply
$2,000EAP Program ScholarshipAny International student who has completed over 12 months in our ESL program. Programs from these streams: Business Admin- istration, Business Accounting, Computer Programmer Analyst, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Tourism, or any Graduate program. $2,000Graduate Certificate ScholarshipAn international student that has completed or is currently registered in their final year of any academic program at Niagara College and is entering a Graduate (Post-Graduate) program in the same or next academic year. Apply
$2,000International in Canada ScholarshipInternational student who is currently in Canada on a student visa, studying at any school and transferring to Niagara College. Programs from these streams: Bachelor of Applied Business, Business Administration, Computer Programmer, Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineering, and Hospitality and Tourism.Apply
$2,000Latin America & Brazil ScholarshipInternational student who is a resident of Latin America and has been admitted to a NC academic program for the upcoming school year. Apply
$2,000Lyford Cay ScholarshipStudent must already be approved for a Lyford Cay Foundation Technical Training Scholarship or a Canadian Lyford Cay Foundation Scholarship. Accepted to one of these NC programs: Hospitality Operations Management (Co-op), Photonics Engineering Technology, Chef Training, Culinary Management (Co-op), Motive Power Technician (Co-op), Construction Techniques, Construction Engineering Technology.Apply

In the interest of providing as many scholarships and awards to as many students as possible, a student may receive only 1 scholarship or award per Fall or Winter distribution.

These scholarships are for students who have been accepted to Niagara College.

Members of our community have recognized the unique challenges that International students experience, and have generously donated scholarships to assist and celebrate student achievement. The scholarships available through these donations are based on academic performance, financial need, and volunteerism.

Niagara College International Student Awards

Niagara College awards students who are the top academic and engaged students in their school. There is no application for this award. It is determined based on academic performance and an active co-curricular record.

One recipient from each academic school will be chosen and notified.
