Projects in Argentina
Niagara College’s Workforce Development Strategic Response Model was the focus of a
three-year bilateral project launched in May 2005 in the Province of Misiones, Argentina. This innovative project, aptly named MATE (Modelo Argentino para Turismo y Empleo—-Argentine Tourism and Employment Model), was largely financed by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) through the Southern Cone Technology Transfer Fund. MATE’s Argentine partner provided human resources and supported the model’s sustainability over the long-term.
