Fitness Class Descriptions

Bootcamp

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

A full body workout with a moderate-high intensity targeting the major muscle groups. This class will help improve aerobic fitness as well as muscular strength, power, and endurance. These workouts are designed to add diversity, fun, and a challenge to your regular exercise routines.


Circuit Training

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

This class has it all! Stations for cardio and strength training followed by abs & stretching will leave you sweating with this triple threat workout


Core

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

The ultimate core workout. Crunch, plank, and twist your way to a stronger and firmer core. Targeting the abdominals and low back which play an important role in maintaining good posture and a healthy back.


Danceology

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

5, 6, 7, 8! Improve your coordination, build confidence and get a great workout with this fun dance class. This class begins with a warm up followed by learning a simple yet challenging routine to classic, old school and recent hits.


Flexibility

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

This class is dedicated to stretching the entire body to improve joint mobility and range of motion.


Hero Fit Bootcamp

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

Overall improve total body strength. This is a total body work out, using the combination of strength training and cardio, like our regular bootcamp but geared towards improving fitness testing. This class will help increase the number or push ups and sit ups as well as increase cardiovascular endurance to help improve your beep test stage.


HIIT

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

HIIT, or High Intensity Interval Training is the workout fitness experts have been raving about. HIIT features short intervals of extreme exercise, followed by intervals of rest. These bursts of intense work will torch calories and strengthen your entire body.


Lower Body Blast

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

Improve lower body strength, endurance, and muscle tone with this class that focuses on the thighs, glutes, and core muscle groups.


Spin

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

Be prepared to sweat! This indoor cycling class will have you feeling like you just got out of the pool. Improving not only with your cardio but also muscular endurance.


Spin & Stretch

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

The benefits of a regular indoor cycling class to improve cardiovascular endurance, followed with core work and extended stretching.


Sport Step

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

Designed for participants who want to improve cardiovascular fitness, this high intensity aerobic workout utilizes the step platform or BOSU, without the complicated choreography.


Total Body Blast

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

Train your entire body during this strength building class. Participants of all levels engage in an integrated strength training session designed get you fit from head to toe


Upper Body Blast

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

Focuses on improving upper body muscular strength. Targeting the arms (biceps & triceps), shoulders and back and chest muscles.


Yoga

Location: A205 (WC)

Class Times:

This Hatha Yoga class is a gentle to mid pace practice in which you will utilize your breath while executing a variety of yoga postures. Great for increasing flexibility, alleviating stress, and developing muscle tone. Don’t forget to bring your mat.
